I came to know La Jolla Playhouse initially through my work for them as an attorney over 10 years ago. And then my husband Charlie and I saw Up Here in 2015, and the rest, as they say, is history! We became season subscribers, I joined the Board, and am now thrilled to be serving as Secretary of the Board this year.

As my work with the Playhouse has deepened, I’ve come to truly appreciate all that the Playhouse does for San Diego. Not just the incredible subscription season productions, but all the work in the community, much of it offered free-of-charge, particularly for the military veterans like Charlie. This past year, when we attended the WOW Festival with our young son, we were dazzled by all the family-friendly performances (it can be hard to find toddler-friendly events!) and the overall energy of this major undertaking. It is the impact in the community that truly drives my passion for the Playhouse and my commitment to support.
